CMP01 Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. seeks experienced registered nurses to join its Emergency Department team. Full-time and part-time positions are available in a high-volume urban hospital setting.

The role emphasizes rapid assessment, critical care interventions, patient education, and collaboration with physicians to ensure timely and safe patient transfers and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license or eligibility.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification within 90 days of employment.
• BLS, ACLS required; PALS or ENPC within 3 months of hire.
• Experience: Level II RN, minimum 1 year.

Responsabilités

• Knowledgeable of EMTALA laws governing ER transfer.
• Assess age-specific safety and trauma response for ER patients.
• Interpret ARTERIAL blood gas results and monitor hemodynamic status.
• Document discharge planning and plan of care for ER patients.
• Perform accurate nursing assessments and establish care priorities.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and monitor patient responses.
