Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide holistic, evidence-based patient care across all nursing process steps within our hospital. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate with physicians and the care team.

BSN is preferred with a 5-year window; AD/Diploma acceptable; Ohio RN license required; BLS and ACLS within 6 months. This is an on-site role in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Nurse must provide age- and culturally-specific patient care and education.
• Excellent communication with peers and other health care team members; maintain confidentiality.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and adapting to changes in practice.
• Ohio RN licensure with BLS; ACLS within 6 months where required.
• BSN within 5 years preferred; AD/Diploma nurses may be hired.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic patient assessments using The Christ Hospital Professional Practice Model.
• Develop and revise multidisciplinary care plans with measurable goals.
• Communicate the plan of care via SBAR and participate in handoffs.
• Deliver evidence-based nursing care and educate patients and families.
• Document nursing care accurately in the EMR and participate in safety practices.
