Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a registered nurse to provide holistic patient care within our team-based model. You will perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—while collaborating with patients and families to ensure safety, education, and quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will hold Ohio RN licensure, pursue ongoing professional development, and contribute to evidence-based practice in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• RN must be licensed in Ohio
• BSN within 5 years of hire (policy)
• Strong nursing assessment and care planning abilities

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic assessments across physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and education needs.
• Identify and communicate actual or potential nursing diagnoses to the physician and team.
• Coordinate care using SBAR and handoff processes; establish care priorities and contribute to discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family education tailored to needs; document plans and outcomes in the EMR.
• Respond to emergencies with prompt, precise action; follow safety and infection control procedures.
• Lead and mentor peers, participate in professional development and quality improvement activities.
