Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department to join a full-time team. The role involves accurate patient assessment, care planning, and clear communication with patients, families and colleagues to ensure safe, timely care.

Expect 7am-7:30pm shifts, 36 hours per week, with every 3rd weekend. Requires a nursing degree (AS or BSN) and IL licensure, plus CPR certification; competitive pay and benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families and health care providers in person, by phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on assessment.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice through quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
