Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville Beach is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The role supports high-quality, patient-centered care during evening shifts from 1:00 pm to 1:00 am. The ED serves coastal communities with a collaborative care model and ongoing staff education.

Requirements include 1–2 years of Medical-Surgical experience, ED exposure preferred, active RN license, BLS, and ACLS; BSN is preferred. External hires may qualify for a up to $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• AS degree in Nursing is required.
• BSN preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse.
• BLS required.
• ACLS preferred.
• PALS/CEN/TNCC/NIHSS certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of medical, surgical, or emergent conditions.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis and plan of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services.
• Serve as a patient advocate to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Participate in staff meetings and unit-based initiatives.
• Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health.
