Job summary

Southcoast Health in Fall River, MA is seeking an EXPERIENCED ED RN for the Charlton Memorial Hospital Emergency Department. The 36-hour evening shift includes weekend and holiday rotation. A $5,000 New Hire Sign On is offered with 2+ years of ED RN experience.

We are a community hospital serving about 60,000 patients per year. Eligible candidates will be joining a supportive, fast-paced team with opportunities for growth and dedicated leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• ED RN experience is required.
• ACLS, PALS and NIHSS required prior to orientation.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients in the ED.
• Participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by working with ancillary nursing and other patient team members.
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice within the assigned unit.
• Care for patients appropriate to their age group.
