Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health’s Monmouth Medical Center - Southern Campus in Lakewood, NJ is seeking a PD RN for the Emergency Department on evenings. The ED RN cares for patients of all ages requiring emergency care.

Ideal candidates hold an active New Jersey RN license with BLS, ACLS and PALS, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and at least one year of ED experience; familiarity with EPIC EMR is preferred. This Per Diem role includes evening shifts and potential weekend/holiday considerations.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing with current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Minimum of one year ED patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessments and respond to clinical changes in a fast-paced ED setting.
• Administer medications and treatments with evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers to coordinate patient care.
• Document care accurately in the EPIC EMR to ensure patient safety and continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and maintain high standards of communication.
