Job summary

St. Charles Health System is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department to deliver patient- and family-centered care across units.

You will work within the ED team to assess patients, implement care plans, and document actions, while maintaining professional standards and excellent communication. The role requires current Oregon RN licensure, BLS, and hospital policies compliance; ACLS/TNCC/PALS and Code Grey training are expected within 6 months.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required by Oregon; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers; ACLS, TNCC, PALS and Code Grey within 6 months preferred.
• 1 year recent Critical Care or ED RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition using critical thinking and plan care.
• Administer medications and document care per policy.
• Collaborate with disciplines to meet patient and family needs.
• Provide therapeutic presence and patient-centered care.
• Support continuous quality improvement and VIP Lean initiatives.
