Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for Baptist Medical Center South. This Regular-Full time role covers the First Shift (7A) and focuses on supervising nursing staff, coordinating patient care, and ensuring quality, safe care in a busy ED.

The RN will work with physicians and clinicians to plan and implement patient care, using the nursing process for assessments, care planning, and interventions. BSN preferred; RN licensure and BLS required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required and active.
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC etc may be required depending upon area assigned.
• Degree in Nursing required; BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing personnel on shift, weekends, and holidays.
• Collaborate with Physicians and other healthcare clinicians in planning and implementation of patient care.
• Apply nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and performance of care interventions.
