Job summary

Trinity Health’s St. Mary’s Health Care System in Athens, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The RN collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidenced-based patient care and ensure a comprehensive visit experience.

Weekend option with Saturday and Sunday 7a–7p shifts emphasize cardiac and stroke care support. The role includes assessing patients, developing and evaluating care plans, and executing complex nursing tasks under limited supervision.

Qualifications

A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing or substantially equivalent.
Refresher course within the past 6 months if nursing practice has not occurred within the past 5 years.
Prior experience in preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess patients, develop, evaluate, and modify the care plan.
Interpret and perform complex patient-care procedures.
Function as part of the care and support teams to achieve patient outcomes.
Provide care to patients using nursing process, environment, and team collaboration.
