Job summary

Baptist Medical Center South is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on the first shift. The RN will supervise nursing staff on shift, collaborate with physicians, and ensure quality patient care through the nursing process.

Requirements include RN licensure, BLS, and a nursing degree with BSN preferred. Additional certifications may be needed depending on the unit. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity with weekend/holiday coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• RN licensure active is required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to plan and implement patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessment, care planning and interventions.
