Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team in New Jersey. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, coordinate with physicians and support services, and document all nursing activities accurately.

Qualifications include an RN license, an associate degree or diploma (BSN preferred), and BLS/CPR certification within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or diploma required; BSN in progress encouraged.
• Valid RN license to work at the specified HMH location by hire date.
• BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• Six months of nursing experience or active Nurse Residency with HMH.
• National Certification in specialty preferred when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per evidence-based policies and standards.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and other caregivers.
• Document patient assessments, plans, interventions and outcomes.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care across populations.
• Educate patients and families and ensure understanding of care plans.
• Communicate changes in patient status to team and physicians.
• Adhere to organizational competencies and compliance requirements.
