Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within a dynamic interdisciplinary team. The role emphasizes evidence-based nursing, effective communication, and coordination to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes for diverse patient populations.

The position requires an RN license, BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire, and a willingness to obtain BSN if not already held.

Qualifications

• Must have a current and valid RN license to work at the assigned HMH location by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• Six or more months of nursing experience or active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per evidence-based practices and standards of care.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using a structured approach.
• Communicate the plan of care with the healthcare team and patients.
• Assist with discharge planning and coordinate care across shifts and services.
