Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for its Emergency Department in Richmond, VA. The role focuses on patient-centered care within a 19-bed unit delivering services from birth to death, including a fast-track area for non-emergent cases.

The RN will follow evidence-based practice and hospital policies while ensuring compassionate, respectful care. The position requires a Kentucky RN license, ADN (BSN preferred), and BLS; ACLS/PALS within 6 months; TNCC preferred; NIHSS within 3

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
• Completion and maintenance of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and identification of patient needs and implementation of appropriate interventions considering the needs of patient populations per department scope of service.
• Delegation of nursing care activities and provisions of supervision; establishes and maintains a plan for the delivery of nursing care; assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems; and performs technical aspects of care competently.
• Has access to medication storage areas as required for job tasks. Follows Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures.
