Job summary

Novant Health’s Emergency Department in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse. You will deliver rapid assessment, critical thinking, and compassionate care to patients presenting with a broad range of emergencies, in a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Current RN licensure in the state is required; one year of relevant experience is preferred. The role offers stability in a busy hospital setting with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

Education:

4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.

Experience:

One year relevant experience, preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.

Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you'll care for patients of all ages with a wide variety of illnesses and injuries-from minor conditions to life-threatening emergencies.
