Job summary

Incredible Health in Nyack, NY is hiring an Emergency Department RN to join our hospital partners. The role focuses on urgent care, trauma and critical care, with opportunities for shift choices including night shift and options for full-time, part-time, or per diem.

You will assess patients, administer meds, collaborate with physicians, and participate in code blue events while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing required.
• Active RN license required.
• 1+ years ER experience preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients needing urgent medical care.
• Treat patients with trauma, injury, or severe medical conditions.
• Assess patients quickly and prioritize care.
• Monitor health conditions, administer medications and treatments, and operate medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.

• Treat patients who are suffering from trauma, injury or severe medical conditions
• Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care
• Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and other treatments, and operate and maintain medical equipment medical equipment
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, determining whether a patient should be discharged or arranged for a longer hospital stay
• Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care plan
