Job summary

Incredible Health is recruiting an Emergency Department Registered Nurse in Union City, TN to join our partner hospital team. Shifts include day, night and mid, with full-time, part-time and per diem options.

You will treat trauma and acute illnesses, operate advanced medical equipment, and collaborate with physicians to develop care plans. A valid RN license and ADN or higher are required; ER experience and ACLS/PALS are preferred.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree is required.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• 1+ year ER experience preferred.
• ACLS and/or PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with advanced medical equipment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients needing urgent medical care.
• Treat patients with trauma, injury, or severe medical conditions.
• Assess needs quickly and prioritize care.
• Monitor health, administer medications, and operate medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Care of psychiatric patients, Fast track, Transport, Trauma, Trauma level 1, Trauma level 2, Trauma level 3, or Trauma level 4.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing

• 1+ years of experience in an emergency room (ER) setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients who require any type of urgent medical care
• Treat patients who are suffering from trauma, injury or severe medical conditions
• Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care
• Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and other treatments, and operate and maintain medical equipment medical equipment
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, determining whether a patient should be discharged or arranged for a longer hospital stay
• Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care plan

Salary: $48,920 to $94,687 /year
