Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring Emergency Department Registered Nurses for the Washington, DC area. Openings include day, night, and mid shifts with full-time, part-time, and per diem schedules.

Nurses with ER experience, trauma exposure, or cross-trained backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing required or preferred for ER roles.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license required.
• 1+ years ER experience preferred; ACLS/PALS certifications preferred.
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients needing urgent medical care.
• Treat patients with trauma, injuries or severe medical conditions.
• Assess patients quickly and prioritize care.
• Monitor health, administer medications and operate medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.
