Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring for an Emergency Department Registered Nurse in Palmdale, CA. This hospital setting offers day, night, and mid shifts with full-time, part-time, or per diem options.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as first line of defense for patients needing urgent medical care.
• Treat trauma, injuries or severe medical conditions.
• Assess needs quickly and prioritize care.
• Monitor health, administer medications and operate equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop care plans and determine discharge vs. admission.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in an emergency room (ER) setting preferred
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedure

• Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care
• Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and other treatments, and operate and maintain medical equipment medical equipment

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, determining whether a patient should be discharged or arranged for a longer hospital stay
• Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care plan
