Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) in Fresno, CA. This role welcomes RN candidates with ADN or higher nursing degrees and an active license. Prior ER experience is preferred, with ACLS/PALS certifications encouraged.

You will care for trauma and urgent cases, triage patients, and collaborate with physicians to plan care. The position offers day and night shifts with both full-time and part-time options.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide initial assessment and triage for urgent medical care.
• Treat patients with trauma, injury, or severe conditions.
• Prioritize care and monitor patient health.
• Administer medications and operate medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and emergency responses.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop care plans and determine discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients who require any type of urgent medical care
• Treat patients who are suffering from trauma, injury or severe medical conditions
• Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care
• Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and other treatments, and operate and maintain medical equipment medical equipment
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, determining whether a patient should be discharged or arranged for a longer hospital stay
• Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care plan
