Job summary

Incredible Health seeks an experienced Emergency Department RN in Burbank, CA to provide urgent care, trauma support, and rapid patient assessment during night shifts. Work schedule includes full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities.

You will collaborate with physicians and allied staff, monitor and administer treatments, and educate patients and families on care plans. The hospital offers comprehensive benefits and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1+ year ER experience preferred.
• ACLS/PALS certifications preferred.
• Experience with advanced medical equipment.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first line of defense for urgent medical care patients.
• Treat patients with trauma, injury or severe conditions.
• Assess patients’ needs quickly and prioritize care.
• Monitor health, administer meds and operate medical equipment.
• Participate in code blues and other emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians to plan care and discharge decisions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and plans.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients who require any type of urgent medical care
• Treat patients who are suffering from trauma, injury or severe medical conditions
• Quickly assess patients’ needs and prioritize care
• Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and other treatments, and operate and maintain medical equipment medical equipment
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, determining whether a patient should be discharged or arranged for a longer hospital stay
• Educate patients and their families about the patient’s condition and care plan
