Job summary

Incredible Health in Austin, TX is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to deliver urgent patient care in a fast-paced setting. You will assess, stabilize, and manage patients with trauma or acute illness while coordinating with physicians and the care team for timely interventions.

Requirements include ADN or higher, active RN license, 1+ year ER experience preferred, ACLS/PALS preferred, and strong communication and critical-thinking skills.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1+ years of ER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients who require urgent medical care.
• Treat patients suffering from trauma, injury or severe medical conditions.
• Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care.
• Monitor health conditions, administer medications and other treatments, and operate medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about the condition and care plan.
