Job summary

Incredible Health in Plano, TX is hiring an Emergency Department (RN) to deliver urgent care. This role requires an RN license and an ADN or higher nursing degree, with ER experience preferred.

You will work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to prioritize care, monitor patients, and educate families. Then participate in emergencies and code events as needed.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active, unencumbered RN license.
• 1+ year ER experience preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with advanced medical equipment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for urgent medical care.
• Treat patients with trauma, injuries or severe conditions.
• Quickly assess needs and prioritize care.
• Monitor health, administer meds, operate medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and plans.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients who require any type of urgent medical care
• Treat patients who are suffering from trauma, injury or severe medical conditions
• Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care
• Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and other treatments, and operate and maintain medical equipment medical equipment
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, determining whether a patient should be discharged or arranged for a longer hospital stay
• Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care plan
