Job summary

The Registration Clerk at Paycom - ATS in Midland, TX provides accurate patient demographics and financial information for registration and claim reimbursement, assisting RNs and Physicians and explaining the admissions process to customers.

This role requires excellent customer service, strong computer skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced emergency room. OSHA compliance, occasional holiday/weekend work, and lifting requirements are part of the job.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with at least 1 year of experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong communication skills in oral and written form.
• Flexible, service-oriented, and able to solve problems.
• Able to multitask and maintain courtesy in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in the Emergency Department.
• Maintain accurate patient log and documentation.
• Handle banking and cash handling requirements.
• Assist RNs and Physicians with delegated tasks within scope.
• Adhere to OSHA guidelines and report equipment issues.
• May work holidays and weekends as needed.
