Job summary

Independence Healthcare Center in Independence, KS seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The RN will provide general nursing care, perform assessments, and assist physicians in treatments while ensuring patient education and safety.

Candidate must hold a Kansas RN license and obtain BCLS/ACLS within 1 year, plus PALS/TNCC within 2 years. This is a full-time on-site ED position with hospital benefits.

Qualifications

Diploma in Nursing or higher with RN licensure in Kansas.
Preferably at least one year of practice in nursing and some critical care experience.
Must obtain BCLS and ACLS within 1 year, and PALS and TNCC within 2 years.

Responsibilities

Provides general nursing care to patients in Emergency Department.
Assists physicians by performing nursing assessments and treatments.
Instructs patients as needed to support care and safety.
