Hunterdon Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Emergency Department in Flemington, NJ. This part-time role involves hands-on patient care, EKGs, specimen collection, splinting, and safe patient transport in a high-acuity ED setting.

You will also provide clerical support, collaborate with nurses and physicians, and help maintain department organization and safety compliance. AVADE training is required within six months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required; AVADE training within six months of employment.

Responsabilités

• Perform EKGs accurately and timely.
• Collect and label diagnostic specimens for laboratory processing.
• Apply and secure splints or immobilizers as directed.
• Provide wound care and dressing changes.
• Safely lift, reposition, and transport patients.
• Assist with activities of daily living and nutrition support.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for emergency procedures.
• Maintain organized patient records and communications.
