Job summary

Indiana University Health in Indiana is seeking a licensed Paramedic to join the White Hospital Emergency Department on full-time prescheduled shifts (10am-10:30pm).

You will provide care, transport, and treatment for ill or injured patients in emergency and non-emergency settings, relay critical information, and adhere to safety, regulatory, and hospital policies while applying pediatric to geriatric care knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an EMT program and a Paramedic Training Program with Indiana licensure.
• Certification requirements include BLS, ACLS, and PALS through the AHA.
• Experience in emergency department orientation and patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, transport, and treatment of ill/injured patients in emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Relay and receive information regarding patient condition.
• Comply with regulatory requirements, departmental policy and safety practices.
• Apply knowledge to care for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and elderly patients.
