Wellstar Health System in the United States seeks an Emergency Department Paramedic to join a multidisciplinary team. You will support treatment in the hospital ED alongside RNs and physicians, delivering high quality, compassionate care during emergencies.

This role requires a Georgia paramedic license and national registry, plus completion of an accredited paramedic program with clinical hours. You will assist with patient care, triage, education for patients and families, and help manage

Competenze

• Completion of accredited paramedic program with clinical hours.
• Minimum 2 years of paramedic experience.
• Must possess Georgia paramedic license and national registry certification.

Mansioni

• Assists medical and nursing staff with the care and treatment of Emergency patients.
• Assists in the intake process by greeting and interviewing patients and inputting pertinent medical information into the computer system.
• Performs and assists nursing and medical staff in diagnostic testing and procedures such as EKG, cardiac monitoring, venipuncture, point-of-care testing, wound care, and cast/splint application.
• Initiate IV, administer medications (oral, IM, some IV), monitor glucose, ISTAT testing as directed by RN.
• Transport patients to ICU and monitor critical patients; assist with ED patient flow.
• Perform monitor tech and command center technician duties; receive EMS patients into ED; assist with education of patients and families.
