Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking an Emergency Department Paramedic to join a dynamic ED team in Georgia. You will support treatment alongside RNs and physicians, perform EKGs, monitor cardiac activity, start IVs, and assist with traumas and STEMI alerts in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The chosen candidate will have Georgia paramedic licensure and NREMT registration, with ongoing training and collaboration across disciplines to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist medical and nursing staff in ED patient care and intake.
• Greet patients and collect pertinent medical information.
• Assist with IV initiation, medication administration, and glucose monitoring per RN.
• Monitor patients on cardiac monitor and perform ISTAT testing as directed.
• Transport patients to ICU and assist with trauma/ STEMI alerts.
