Presbyterian Healthcare Services in New Mexico seeks a Nursing Tech III for Lincoln County Medical Center's Emergency Department in Ruidoso. You will perform advanced patient care procedures under licensed supervision, initiate IV therapy, wound care, and assist with daily activities and discharge instructions.

This role supports patient care operations, coordinates equipment, and participates in sterile processing.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent plus trade or vocational school in medical/surgical patient care.
• 6 months patient care experience required. One to three years experience preferred.
• Receives on-the-job training and competency verification to perform primary functions.
• Microsoft Office Skills
• Phlebotomy Technician Certification (CPT)
• BLS required at time of hire.

Responsabilités

• Monitors patients and collects information for documentation in the patient record. Posts laboratory results and other tests.
• Inserts and removes peripheral IV therapy lines; performs phlebotomy and sample collection.
• Performs wound care, dressing changes, and assists with procedures under licensed supervision.
• Coordinates and maintains equipment and sterile processing systems.
• Operates patient monitoring systems and uses PACIS as required.
• Delivers specimens to Laboratory and transports X-rays, blood and equipment.
