Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in San Diego is seeking a Nurse Leader for the Emergency Department with 24-hour responsibility for ED personnel and care quality. You will coordinate patient care across families, plan staffing, and ensure resources align with daily, weekly, and monthly needs.

Required are a Bachelor's in Nursing, CA RN license, and 5 years ED nursing experience including 1 year in leadership, plus BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and CA RN license.
• 5 years ED nursing experience, including 1 year in a leadership role.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Professionals required.
• ACLS required.
• PALS required.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of and 24-hour responsibility for ED personnel and care quality.
• Coordinate care for patients and families in the Emergency Department.
• Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate staff and care activities on shift daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Ensure scheduling, coordination, and maintenance of resources on a shift basis.
