Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience in Emergency Services with at least one (1) year of leadership.
• Current California Nursing license.
• Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish).
• Basic computer skills; BLS, PALS, ACLS; Workplace Violence Training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates positive relationships to promote teamwork and high-quality patient care.
• Participates in hospital committees and multidisciplinary conferences; distributes minutes.
• Implements Quality and Performance Improvement Plan; reports findings to leadership.
• Leads staff development and mentoring; supports orientee growth.
• Manages staffing and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and regulatory compliance.
• Ensures standard of care; audits charts and provides feedback to staff.
• Assists in hiring processes and staff evaluations; conducts rounds.
