Prisma Health invites new graduate RNs to join the Nurse Residency Program at the Oconee Memorial Hospital Emergency Department. You will learn under the supervision of experienced RNs, complete clinical competencies, and participate in ongoing professional development while providing compassionate patient care.

Minimum requirements include an ADN in nursing and an active RN license in SC; BSN is preferred. Night shifts are available as part of the residency.

Qualifications

• ADN required and licensed to practice as an RN; BSN preferred.
• No previous experience is required; candidates with more than 12 months experience are not eligible.
• Current RN license recognized in SC or multi-state license valid in the state of work.

Responsabilités

• Attends nurse residency program activities and completes required competencies under the supervision of a licensed RN.
• Participates in developing and implementing patient care plans with the care team.
• Documents patient care per unit standards and communicates changes to supervising RN.
• Monitors patient conditions, performs assessments, and participates in orientation to clinical procedures.
• Acts as a team member within the Emergency Department, adhering to policies and safety practices.

Formation

Associate degree in Nursing

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
