Prisma Health’s Nurse Residency Program welcomes new graduate nurses to build a strong foundation through core clinical training, simulation labs, one-on-one mentorship, and ongoing professional development. The program takes place in the Emergency Department at Tuomey Hospital as part of the Emergency Services service line.

The cohort starts February 15, 2027; graduates must complete prerequisites before January 1, 2026.

Qualifications

• Education - ADN required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in nursing care under supervision of a licensed RN.
• Perform nursing assessments using critical thinking under supervision.
• Document care and medications per policy and unit standards.
• Participate in clinical skills validation and mentorship activities.
• Contribute to quality and safety initiatives within the unit.

Education

Associate degree in Nursing

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
