Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a Manager of the Emergency Department to oversee daily operations in the Emergency Services department in Olympia Fields, IL. You will coordinate activities, ensure quality patient care, and supervise ED staff.

In this role, you will collaborate with physicians, hospital staff, and outside agencies while maintaining compliance with BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CEN guidelines. This leadership position is on the day shift with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a current and valid state RN license.
• BLS on hire and maintain current.
• A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience.
• BSN required for all hires after 1/11/2021.
• ACLS, PALS on hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day operations of the Emergency Department.
• Supervise and monitor ED staff performance.
• Collaborate with physicians, hospital staff, outside agencies, patients and families to deliver comprehensive care.
