UCHealth Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, CO is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to join a fast-paced unit focused on patient safety and high-quality care. This onsite role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and adherence to clinical standards.

Responsibilities include staff evaluation, competency development, and active coaching, with collaboration from the CNS/Educator to meet educational needs and throughput goals. A Bachelor’s in Nursing and RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ER RN experience required.
• 1+ years of charge experience preferred.
• BLS/ACLS and specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Nurse Manager with staff evaluation and competency development.
• Develop, implement and evaluate standards of care for the unit and patient population.
• Coach and develop staff; communicate effectively and problem-solve to ensure patient care.
• Coordinate resource allocation and staffing to match patient needs and throughput goals.
• Collaborate with CNS/Educator to maintain continuity of care and patient-care requirements.
