Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a registered nurse to deliver high-quality patient care through the nursing process, data collection, and assessment. The role coordinates patient teaching and collaborates with health team members to ensure optimal outcomes.

You will participate in ongoing quality improvement, utilize the professional practice model, and ensure safe medication administration in line with state regulations and Mercy Health policies.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice (required)
• BLS Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) preferred
• Associate degree or diploma in nursing required; BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial and ongoing patient assessment and develops a plan of care.
• Administers medications safely in accordance with state practice and policies.
• Acts as a patient safety advocate and coordinates care across hospital departments.
