Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse in Atlanta, GA to deliver comprehensive nursing care across the life span, from birth onward, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while adhering to organizational policies and professional accountability.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Georgia RN licensure (or eligible NLC/eNCL multistate license) and BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNCL multistate licensure is required.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Advanced certification in specialty is a plus where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff and maintain standards of practice.
