Job summary

Winslow Indian Health Care Center is seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse for the Dilkon Medical Center in Dilkon, AZ. Under the supervision of the Emergency Department Nurse Manager, you will coordinate care, provide direct patient care, education and discharge planning in the ED.

Requires BSN or ADN, current RN license, BLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS and relevant certifications. Navajo-English bilingual preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN licensure with active status and eligibility to practice in the United States.
• BLS/CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; NRP within 6 months; TNCC/ATCN and ENPC within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high quality patient-centered care.
• Triage and provide immediate/urgent treatment in ED.
• Set-ups and operate cardiac monitors, defibrillators, EKG machines, ventilators.
• Counsel and teach patients and families on preventive and therapeutic measures.
• Maintain complete and accurate health records and nursing documentation.
