Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• Current RN license in good standing and active
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• NCLEX must be passed for all positions.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Background check and suitability for Child Care position.
• Preference for Navajo language bilingual abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintains regular attendance and punctuality.
• Take vital signs, measure height/weight, venipuncture in outpatient setting.
• Triages and provides urgent treatment within scope of practice.
• Complete chart reviews and patient/provider documentation.
• Perform intravenous cannulation, administer medications and monitor responses.
• Set up and operate monitoring equipment (EKG, defibrillators, ventilators).
• Provide counseling and education to patients and families on health care measures.
