Job summary

Winslow Indian Health Care Center is seeking an Urgent Care Registered Nurse to coordinate care for patients and families, provide direct patient care, education, and discharge planning in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The role requires current RN licensure, BLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS, and additional certifications with timelines for NRP, TNCC/ATCN, and ENPC; NCLEX must be passed. Navajo language skills preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must have RN license and be eligible to work in the United States.
• Current BLS/CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• NRP certification within six months of hire; TNCC/ATCN and ENPC within one year; basic dysrhythmia and 12-lead EKG training within six months.
• Must have passed the NCLEX and maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Urgent Care setting.
• Triage and treat patients with injuries or illnesses; assist with emergency needs.
• Discharge planning and patient education to ensure understanding and adherence.
• Serve as medical interpreter for Navajo-speaking patients as needed; maintain documentation and records.
