Job summary
Hartford Hospital in Connecticut seeks an Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Practitioner. You are a Registered Nurse with NPD practice judgment who influences professional role competence and growth of learners within the Nursing Professional Development framework.
In collaboration with Emergency Department leadership, you will foster competency management, clinical nursing education, policy standardization, onboarding and orientation of Hartford HealthCare colleagues, and support Mind/Body
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree; enrolled in Master's with degree completion within two years of hire date
- One degree must be in Nursing; demonstrated clinical competence in areas of assignment.
- Minimum 3 years of appropriate recent experience in an acute care setting; teaching experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support learners within Nursing Professional Development practice.
- Foster competency management, clinical nursing education, professional role development, policy standardization, and onboarding of Hartford HealthCare colleagues.
- Collaborate with Emergency Department nursing leadership to promote practice excellence and education initiatives.
