Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's in nursing, Nursing Education or Health Care Administration required.
• Two years teaching experience preferred.
• Current RN license in applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Develops a systematic education plan and evaluates nursing staff development programs.
• Designs interventions and promotes research-based practice among staff.
• Supervises unit educators and participates in annual performance reviews.
• Provides educational consultation across the continuum in area of specialty.
• Assesses learning styles and creates education programs and materials.
• Conducts annual education needs assessment and analyzes priorities.
• Coaches and mentors educators on curriculum development and evaluation.
