The Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) will provide mental health services, including crisis risk assessments, for adults and children in a hospital emergency department. The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to support patients in acute care, with potential to float between units and locations as needed, including Holy Family Hospital.

Candidates may hold an independent or associate license; hospital experience is preferred.

Qualificações

• Active LICSW license or associate license, pending approval.
• Experience conducting crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics.
• Previous hospital or acute care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
• Valid licensure as MH Counselor, MFT, or LICSW.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics in the ED.
• Provide mental health counseling and support services per clinical social work standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float between hospital units, including possible assignment to Holy Family Hospital, performing equivalent duties.
• Document patient interactions and clinical findings in electronic health records.
• Participate in departmental meetings and trainings as required.
