Samaritan Hospital, an affiliate of St. Peter's Health Partners, is seeking a part-time Social Worker for the Emergency Department per diem.

The role involves joining an interdisciplinary treatment team to work with adults with psychiatric and substance abuse issues, delivering individual and group therapy, treatment planning, case coordination, and community collaboration. Requirements include a Master’s degree in Social Work and NYS LMSW or LCSW licensure, plus at least one year of experience

Formación

• Master's degree in Social Work required.
• NYS LMSW or LCSW licensure required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in medical, psychiatric, or health care setting.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and treat psychological, behavioral and emotional disorders.
• Provide mental health therapy for clients.
• Identify barriers impacting patient functioning and arrange resources.
