Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking an ED Patient Flow Coordinator to oversee the movement of patients through the Emergency Department in a safe and efficient manner. This role coordinates all patient care activities and serves as a liaison with the ED medical staff to ensure timely, safe care delivery.

The position requires RN experience in the Emergency Department, Georgia licensure, and participation in or leadership of quality and process improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program required.
• Bachelor's Degree of Nursing preferred.
• 1 year of Emergency Department experience, as an RN required.
• Experience participating in and/or leading quality and process improvement projects required.
• RN - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• ACLS Required
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required
• CEN - Certified Emergency Room Nurse Preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the overall movement of patients through the ED in a safe and efficient manner.
• Coordinate all patient care activities and liaise with the ED medical staff to ensure care can be delivered efficiently and safely.
• Delegate workload and act as a role model for teamwork, leadership and professionalism in the ED.
