Cleveland Clinic Akron General's Green Health and Wellness Center is seeking a Clinical Technician for the Emergency Department. The role supports caregivers and medical staff by delivering high-quality patient care under RN supervision, with a focus on creating a welcoming, healing environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with vital signs, patient care tasks, and clerical duties as a Health Unit Coordinator.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within new-hire period.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required upon hire.
• One year of recent, full-time patient care experience OR nursing student with at least one completed clinical rotation OR military healthcare experience (HM, 68W, 4N0X1) or related training.

Aufgaben

• Provide or assist with patient care under the supervision of an RN, including vital signs, weight, personal care, point-of-care testing, dressing changes, external monitoring devices and Foley catheter insertion.
• Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, or emotional conditions to an RN.
• Assist with keeping patients’ rooms clean and orderly.
