Job summary

Montrose Regional Health in Montrose, Colorado, seeks an ED team member to provide indirect patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department, supporting physicians and nurses while ensuring clear communication with patients and families.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent with 1 year in acute hospital or ambulance, EMT certification preferred, BCLS and TNCC within one year; the ED is a Level III trauma center staffed 24 hours by board-certified physicians and

• BCLS required; EMT Certification preferred; Basic arrhythmia course preferred.

About The Emergency Department

• The Emergency Department at Montrose Regional Health is a Level III Trauma Center staffed 24 hours per day by Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians and RNs who are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and in Trauma Care.

All About You

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent with one (1) year experience in acute Hospital setting or in ambulance.
• Training & Experience: BCLS preferred. Current EMT Certification (preferable). Basic arrhythmia course (preferable).
• Job Knowledge: Medical terminology TNCC within one year of hire.
