Job summary

Montrose Regional Health in Montrose, CO, is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform transthoracic and stress echocardiography and related vascular studies in the Cardiology Department. You will optimize imaging to deliver thorough exams for physician interpretation, ensuring precise data capture for each patient.

The role requires RDCS registration, BLS at hire with ACLS preferred, and ARRT or CVT credentials; one year of related experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic, exercise stress, dobutamine echocardiograms, carotid, venous and arterial studies in the lab.
• Optimize all imaging modalities to acquire comprehensive tests per organizational standards.
• Produce high quality exams for physician interpretation and accurate data recording.

About The Cardiology Department

In the Cardiology Department at Montrose Regional Health, the cardiologists and patients are supported by a compassionate, educated and experienced staff of nurses, technologists and nuclear medicine technologists with a total of more than 150 years of experience in the field of cardiology.

The goal of the Cardiology Department at Montrose Regional Health is to perform a diagnostic cardiac catheterization on every patient as precisely, thoroughly and efficiently as possible. About The Career

The Cardiac Sonographer should be able to perform a variety of transthoracic, exercise stress, dobutamine echocardiogram, carotid, venous, and arterial studies within the laboratory. Optimize all available imaging modalities to acquire a comprehensive test to the standards of the organization. Performs quality exams for interpretation by a physician to assure results and data are precisely and correctly recorded.
