Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months patient care experience in health care OR completion of US Armed Services medic program.
• EMT/Paramedic/MA/CNA certification and BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care, assisting staff with procedures.
• Inventory and restock emergency department equipment.
• Collect and transport specimens (urine, blood, cultures).
• Assist with admission and discharge; manage IVs and room setup.
• Place patients on monitors and assist with wound/ER procedures.
• Record observations in the patient medical record.
• Report care needs and condition changes to nursing staff.
